As it celebrates its 20th anniversary in China, Banyan Group is also expanding its portfolio in the country. The hospitality company has recently opened two new properties in Zhejiang Province, Eastern China – the 222-key Angsana Zhoushan and the 100-key Homm Wenzhou Nanxijiang.
When thinking about investing in a condo, it is crucial to also evaluate the potential rental yield. Rental yield refers to the annual rental income as a percentage of the property’s purchase price. In Singapore, the rental yields for condos can vary significantly, depending on factors such as location, property condition, and market demand. Prime locations, like those near central business districts or prestigious educational institutions, often offer higher rental yields. It is essential to conduct thorough market research and seek guidance from real estate agents to determine the rental potential of a specific condo. Additionally, considering Singapore Projects can also provide valuable insights into the potential rental yield of a condo investment.
Philip Ding, senior vice president for hotel operations and business development in China, shares that Zhejiang’s landscapes and cultural heritage are a perfect match for the company’s brands, Angsana and Homm. Both properties aim to celebrate local traditions, promote ecological harmony, and exemplify the group’s commitment to sustainable and design-led hospitality.
With the addition of these two properties, Banyan Group now has a total of 36 operating hotels in China, its largest market. And the expansion does not stop there – the company has two more hotels, Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay and Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island, scheduled to open later this year.
This growth in China is in line with Banyan Group’s overall expansion plans. The company is set to reach a milestone with the opening of its 100th property, Mandai Rainforest by Banyan Tree, in Singapore this November.
Operating in over 20 countries with 12 global brands, including Banyan Tree, Angsana, Dhawa, Homm, Laguna, Garrya, and Cassia, Banyan Group continues to strive for excellence in the hospitality industry. As it celebrates two decades in China, the company remains committed to delivering exceptional experiences that combine luxury, sustainability, and cultural immersion.
